There are many groups throughout Arun that offer services and activities for older people. These may be groups offering specific services such as transport or gardening services, of they may be of a social nature such as coffee mornings or knitting circles, or they may be very informal for example a group of people meeting at someone’s house for tea and a chat! Here we present a database of the groups that meet in Arun, so whatever it is you want from a group, you should be able to find it!
Groups and services are constantly being added and the information is being updated at regular intervals, so check regularly for the latest list of groups and services. Please note that, these organisations are mainly voluntary sector services available for older people in the district, and do not include the many commercial or statutory services that might be available.
